Friday night and everyone who is anyone in the world of high flying business (OK, just a slight exaggeration there folks) dragged out their glad rags to troop off down to Aylesbury for the Business Awards. Press were out in full force, so was the red carpet and TV cameras (Bucks Herald were there and the carpet is actually red, fib about the TV Cameras though) as the limos rolled up (aka taxis) and the elite of the Buckinghamshire Business World arrived for the Business Awards.
It was a pretty good bash, we had good fun and lots of dancing only downside was sitting through Cannon and Ball – can’t believe they made us pay to sit through that, should have been the other way round, should have had more dancing.
So round the table are Bev, Peter, Debbie, Alison, Indra, Elizabeth and Emma (Alison and Elizabeth being the sensible ones not wearing taches – only because they wouldn’t stick!). We’re very proud of coming second and would love to give Peter a big pat on the back for designing the website (even though he’s been sacked twice). Roll on next year, we want a proper trophy now.
