Ted’s Shed – actually no, it’s mine now

by Beverley Glock on July 22nd, 2010

I’ve got a shed, it’s mine, all mine, how sad is that?  This lovely shed now lives on our allotment, it’s a very lovely shed, brand new, very clean, very shiny and smells of new shed too.  The fabulous people at Ted’s Sheds donated this lovely shed to us, a BIG THANK YOU to Stephen and his team at Ted’s Sheds.  Even better they came and built it too, now that’s service, actually that’s total luxury.  Check out their website to find out how a shed is born, this is really sweet. I’ve witnessed Agas being born and now my shed too.

So we have a luxury, fully serviced shed.  Hmmm, probably pushing it a bit there, this makes me think that the shed come with a concierge….now there’s an idea.  How about concierge allotments, like luxury serviced apartments, you have luxury serviced allotments so you don’t have to remember to water the plants or even pick them, they just arrive at your door, freshly picked and ready to prepare…..ahh, now I’m getting confused with Ocado, maybe that’s what Ocado is, one step on from luxury serviced allotments but without the mud. This could get really silly.

My lovely new shed is lonely, it needs some tools to keep it warm and a deckchair plus knotted hanky and probably a still, would be good to have a fridge but no electric – oooh more silly ideas conjuring up in my head.  Maybe I could turn the shed into a den… no.   So if any lovely companies out there would like to sponsor this friendly little shed by donating some tools to it I’d love to hear from you.  After all, this shed will be famous soon as it’ll be appearing on TV during the filming of the allotment for Bucks tv, i’ll let you know when it makes its acting debut.

I love my shed, I think I’ll call it Ted after it’s Dad.
