If you order a DIY Cooking Party Kit we're happy to send you a pack of 20 invitations so you can finalise numbers but you will need to book a kit for at least 4 children first.

I'm sorry but we don't allow people to just buy our cooking party invitations unless we're involved with running the party as the invitations specifically say a Splat Cooking Party and we don't want other companies using them and pretending they're us as that's not very nice and makes us very grumpy.

Molecular gastronomy mocktails and canapes for teenagers, we'll show them the awe inspiring secrets of the world's best chefs.  Heston Blumental, Herve This and Ferran Adria eat your heart out, the teenagers have arrived!

Aimed at children aged 11 upwards who love cooking and like to experiment, we'll show them how to make fruit  mocktails with caviar pearls suspended in the liquid, looks like juice, tastes like juice, moves like juice so how on earth do the caviar pearls stay at different levels?   We'll help them make reverse spherification coulis jellies with liquid centres, deconstructed blinis with basil oil powder and cream cheese, After Eight mints or Rolos and they'll take home chocolates that they've made at the party in shoes and handbag shapes.

We've taken our popular classic cooking party and adapted it to appeal to budding Heston Blumenthal's, this is food science meets molecular gastronomy disguised as a cooking party complete with mad scientist goggles and lab coats.

Aimed at children aged 8 upwards who love cooking and like to experiment, they'll cook pizzas, jelly and ice cream for lunch or tea and discover why bread rises, what yeast is, how to make jelly and ice cream in less than 5 minutes and why it works.  They'll make cinder toffee to take home and understand what bicarbonate of soda and yeast have in common then they'll use molecular gastronomy ingredients to make instant sparkly tagliatelle jelly and caviar pearls using spherification techniques.

This is a lunch or supper party, or even dinner party. Aimed at anyone in double figures, i.e. aged 10 and over. There is a minimum. We bring all the ingredients, utensils and party kit and help the children/teenagers/young adults (whatever they want to be called, we know this is a sensitive area!) to prepare and cook their own lunch or supper (so you don't have to do any catering or running around), you sit back with a nice glass of wine or cup of tea and watch whilst they have a great time learning about food, ingredients and cooking techniques, if you're very fortunate they may make extra for you too.

The ultimate Cooking Party. We bring all the ingredients, utensils and party kit, we provide a cooking party experience for the children and help them make their own lunch or tea (so you don't have to do any catering or running around), you sit back with a nice glass of wine or cup of tea and watch the children have a great time learning about food, ingredients and cooking techniques. Cupcake Decorating Party - brand new, this is the party of the decade and will have all your friends desperate for an invite, including their Mums, but this is strictly under 16s only. (We have a similar option for grown ups who would like a cupcake decorating event/party - do call us if you would like details of that).  We will bring along to the party 6 premade delicious cupcakes for each child to decorate - there will be plain and chocolate ones!  We will also bring along homemade chocolate buttercream and fondant frostings with a choice of food colouring pastes so the children can mix up their own colours, please let us know in advance if you have any colour preferences as we bring along a maximum of 3 options. We can also provide an additive free option using natural fruits such as raspberries to provide a lovely rich pink colour and delicious additional flavour, if you are interested in this option please do let us know as it does incur a small additional charge.

The Cookery Leaders will bring piping bags and nozzles and show the guests how to make swirly whirly icing and cupcake rose icing. They will also be shown how to make sugarpaste roses in different sizes and how to cut and glitter sugarpaste shapes. Then it's down to the guests to ice their own cupcakes and have fun with sugarpaste. Their beautiful creations will then be placed into named cake boxes and ribboned up ready to take home.

The party activity lasts for 1 and a half hours, please note that we don't provide food for this option so that will be down to you.

(We are also happy to provide this activity for weddings and other events when you need a group of children entertained for an hour, such as during speeches).

A DIY party kiit ideal for lots and lots of children, rather than doing a full cooking party, the children ice cakes that you have premade and roll out and cut out cookies with pre-made biscuit dough (Splat provide the recipe you make up the recipe) and then decorate them once they are cooked. The children can also use any Cookie Cutters that you have ordered to cut out their sandwiches into funky shapes. Splat have put together a basic Party Box priced per child. The DIY Cooking Party Kits are designed so that any child anywhere in the world can have a cooking party. These are the original Cooking Party Kits, there are copycat kits out there, but none as good as the original. We put a lot of care and attention into these kits to make sure that they are tailored to your and your child's requirements. Parties are so important to children of all ages we want to make sure they are great fun and as easy as possible for you to run. We have sent these kits out all over the world so we know they work.

We have standard recipes matched to the age and likely cooking abililties of the child having the Birthday party. If there are any special requests we'd be happy construct a mix of recipes especially for you. We can also tailor the recipes to cater for food allergies, intolerances, likes and dislikes.
