Isles. Each school is lead by a Splat trained workshop
leader.
We also run occasional and regular in-school clubs and workshops. For more details look at the cookery school pages on the store. Finally, we're collecting video tips and tricks in the Spat classroom

Thai Cookery
Workshop and lunch
"I attended Bev’s Thai Cooking Workshop in June this year. She ran it in her own Kitchen at home so it was a friendly and relaxing environment.
It was a very hands on experience and everybody made real Thai food on the day that we all had the chance to enjoy at the end. Everybody enjoyed it and felt a sense of achievement.
I cook Indian and Chinese but Thai for me had been an almost unapproachable cuisine. Thanks to Bev’s very practical and light-hearted approach Thai cooking didn’t seem so far away and difficult after all. However you didn’t need to be able to cook other Asian food to benefit from the workshop, as other attendees would testify.
Subsequently I now make my own Thai Curry paste’s with Bev’s recipes and enjoy the curries at home. My wife, who has travelled to Thailand a few times, says that they taste great and are very authentic.
The Massaman curry has immediately shot into our top 10 dishes list!
Thanks Bev for giving me the confidence to cross the bridge into Thai cooking."

"This was all I had hoped it would be and much much more.
After a very welcome coffee and slice of still-warm Apple cake, we spent the first part of the course learning about Royal icing. This included how to make it, how to test 'soft peak', how to colour it and how to put it into icing bags.
Alongside this were tips galore on equipment and recipes from Bev and Ally. Then it was biscuit decorating time! There were 4 of us all together, all equally excited about being let loose with a fabulous variety of colours, an assortment of glittery sprinkles, and a selection of yummy biscuits.
Together we produced several crowns, some cupcakes, a couple of flowers, a prom dress, a fabulous frog prince, several dinosaurs and a few dragons too. All were packaged up for us at the end of the morning, along with notes on what we'd done.
Bev and Ally were great; they were friendly, inspirational and really made the whole morning fun.I had a wonderful morning, doing something I really enjoy. I can't recommend this highly enough. Do it!"
